DESIRE/ ख्वाईश

Just a thought came to my mind…why can’t we cut down the thread of our desires and customize it according to the length which we deserve?
Can’t we scrub the thick skin of wants and expose the bliss of self satisfaction?
What drains us and what energies us, do we still need to know?

Well, it is better to make space in our mind, accommodate what makes us smile, love the life we own and breathe without polluted thoughts…

Penning the outcome of this small bunch of thoughts in these four lines…

ख्वाईशो की समंदर थमती नही,
खुदा दो, मुझे दो, मै रटती रही।
जो सामने खिला चमन था मेरे लिये,
इस प्यास मे, वो सूख गया, बिन जिए।।

The sea of desire flows uninterruptedly,
Lord give, give me, I uttered repeatedly.
My beautiful garden which bloomed abundantly,
My thirst, dried it up, lifeless it stood redundantly.

“If wishes were horses, beggars would ride” is a proverb and nursery rhyme, a Scottish proverb…. which suggests if wishing could make things happen, then even the most destitute people would have everything they wanted…. THIS COULD BE THE DICHOTOMY TO WHAT YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE ADVOCATED. … your’s is certainly on to curb the desires. .. of which all have plenty. .. because in this mundane world’s rat race. ..the significance of life n purpose to live is left aside… v start forgetting to live n end up without knowing how to die…. because wishes incarcerate us without strangulating us… I once upon a time was deeply obsessed with such… it resulted in coining my home … abhilasha .. my daughter was then born .. her name is akanksha. . N later my car bore a brand nomenclatured dezire… on 6th Jan 2018 I met with an accident n car did get mutilated. .. on 7th Nov 2018 I lost my papa … I am scared… life has something really more than getting involved with these momentary happiness… eternal bliss due to contentment is the only sweetest truth the contrary rest is bitter truth… Sometimes a small nap … Sometimes to snuggle n cuddle the one with whom we are in love gives happiness.. or just remembering a company is so fulfilling that we get transported into more than their physical manifestation. . Sometimes when we give away or renounce or relinquish then also we attain happiness… n sometimes doing nothing or craving for nothing unlocks the gateway for ecstatic bliss. .. YOUR BRAINWAVE HAS BEEN REFURBED NICELY AND REDUCED INTO WRITING WITH PERFECT BREVITY ….

Ma’am truly said , as buddha said desires are the main reason for sorrows of life…If everybody know this ultimate truth,. life would be so beautiful..😊💐.We all crave for want something..☺.And make our life hell😢. In this regard I remember one stanza of H .W . Longfellow. Trust no future, however pleasant! Let the dead past burry it’s dead! Act- act in the living present! Heart within and God over head!👍💐 Ma’am really superb thoughts.

Desires are untamed it’s different matter for those who every day fight for to fulfill one or another n one after one…..They are very different from u as u said in the introduction you are already in the way to overcome this desires…It’s a mental status to be happy and Contended ….As your blog says happiness is contagious. We can certainly avoid craving for material things …And seeing the nature which is abundant.
